Vertical blinds were first developed by Edward and Frederick Bopp in the 1950s in Kansas City, Missouri. The design was later patented under their company, Sun Vertical, in 1960. Although the original patent and company were eventually sold, the concept quickly grew in popularity and vertical blinds remain one of the most practical and widely used window coverings today.
Our vertical blinds are made to measure and feature full-length slats that run across the width of your window. The slats can be tilted to control the amount of light entering the room, or drawn fully closed to provide privacy.
